gtcapitalgroupllc.com is a fraud

I thought that I would post this as I was contacted by someone from GT Capital Group LLC in regards the loan advertisement. In due dillegence, I checked this out and contacted the company that is being used as the cover for the company and though unaware of it, have confirmed this is a fraud and will be pursuing it. 

Here are some quick ways to check for these things if you don't know already:

• If they have a website, right click on staff photos and search google for the photos.
• in google search, type "whois" and the url that gives you details on when the website was registered and by whom. (Some of this information can be blocked, but worth doing.)
• Search the address they have listed and see what businesses are there - In this case the business was and the staff there had the same names, but it was obviously not them. 
• Contact the business associated to the address, and ask. 
• Search for reviews on the company and the people. and look for those that aren't on their website. 
• Look for the people themselves - LinkedIn is a good source, if they are professionals.
