Loan against Auto Accident Lawsuit

Posted on June 14th, 2017| Updated on June 14th, 2017| by Joshua Raiford

I am seeking a short term loan to replace my car from a car accident I had last year. I was driving on a main roadway and stopped at a red light. My light turned green and I proceeded southbound through the intersection. Another driver heading westbound ignored the red light and ran it. I ended up t boning her and requiring transport to the ER via ambulance. I suffered moderate neck injury and severe back injury. The car I was driving was totaled out with over $28,000 in damage. I have a lawyer and we are in the final parts of the settlement. Combined I will be receiving approximately $175,000 in settlement coming from 4 different insurance companies. The other drivers insurance was enough to cover my medical bills and my lawyers 33% contingency fee.
I have been borrowing a car for the past year and now that I am close to receiving my funds, the person lending me their car wants it back. This loan request of $25,000 will help me pay for a used quality car in cash so I can get to my college classes have reliable transportation for my son, as well as insurance for 6 months, plates and so forth. I plan on repaying the loan and interest within a maximum of 6 months. The vehicle I have found is valued at $20,000. It is a 2006 with 112k miles on it.
